The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS) is a 5.5-year professional degree program (4.5 years of study + 1 year compulsory rotating internship) recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) and affiliated to Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBU).
Students receive comprehensive training in classical Ayurvedic texts (Samhitas), modern medicine, clinical diagnosis, Panchakarma therapy, and surgery — all supported by clinical exposure in our attached 170-bed teaching hospital.
- Duration: 4.5 years academic + 1 year internship
- Annual Intake: 60 seats (CCIM approved)
- Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (min. 50%)
- Entrance: NEET UG qualification mandatory
